Funky Friday
A kids' club for children aged 6-9. This is an open club which meets each Friday during term time (6-7.15pm) at the Methodist Centre, Town Street, Chapel Allerton. The evening involves team games and a Christian message in the hall upstairs. Then juice and biscuits, and competitions, board games and craft downstairs. It is run and staffed by parents and the Oasis Frontline Team.
Totally Tuesday
A club for kids aged 10-13. Again, this is an open club which meets each (you've guessed it!) Tuesday (6.30-8pm) at the Methodist Centre, Town Street, Chapel Allerton, during term time. The evening involves group games in the hall , refreshments and a range of activities and games all on a common theme. The material used is based on the YFC 'Rock Solid' course.
Youth Cell
Chapel A also runs a Youth Cell group which meets every Thursday evening (7.45 - 8.45pm) during term time. The cell is part of Leeds Youth Cell Network of more that 40 cells across the city and is for 13-18 year olds. The cell operates like a housegroup with increasing responsibility being taken by the young people themselves. Across the city the cells meet together for special events, such as the Activ8 days. See Hannah Dey, or Helen Greenwood for more details.
Youth Group
Along with St Matthews and Chapel Allerton Methodist Church, Chapel A runs an open youth group. This meets every Wednesday Night during term time. Young people aged 13+ are welcome to attend this activity, which includes football, games and some kind of weekly challenge.
