Giving by the taking of an offering is not a regular feature of the Sunday service. Many people who commit themselves to the church give regularly from their bank account via standing order. If you are new to the church, you may find the following documents useful - please return completed forms to the church administrator via the church office or a member of the church leadership team.
If you are unable to make a regular offering, we take an offering during the service on the first Sunday of every month. You can also give through the church office or by direct bank transfer (sort code 08-92-99, account number 65375660, account name ' Chapel Allerton Baptist Church') - it would be useful to know if you intend to do this, just so we're better able to reconcile our accounts.
The money that is given to Chapel A is used to pay the two staff members and cover the hire of the school and the church office. The money also covers the running expenses of the church. Chapel A also uses the money to pay for clubs and activities in the community, such as the Arts Festival and Carols in the Park. All giving to the church is 'tithed' i.e. a percentage is given away to organisations beyond the church.
If you have any questions about financial giving, or would like to see our annual budget, please email email@example.com.
