Our beliefs

At Chapel A

We believe in the one true and living God, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is Creator, Sustainer, and Sovereign Ruler of all things.

We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God to us, completely reliable in every way, and the authority for our faith and practice.

We believe in the full deity and humanity of Jesus the Christ, who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and whose death on a cross and resurrection on the third day is the sole and all-sufficient ground for our rescue from sin and death. We believe in His personal and visible return in power and glory.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, who turns us to God, and who regenerates, indwells, sanctifies, teaches and empowers for service every believer.

We believe that all people are sinners by nature and choice. Salvation is only available through the substitutionary work of Jesus on the cross on the repentance and faith of the believer. This is celebrated in believer’s baptism and communion.

We believe in the universal Church as the body of which Jesus is the head, and in the priesthood of all believers, and in the obligation to proclaim the gospel throughout the world.
